Welcome to the start of another exciting swim season! We are so glad to have you as part of the Titans family, and we can’t wait to see our swimmers back in the pool. Please take a moment to review these important updates and reminders as we get started:

📅 Key Dates

First day of practice: September 2nd

Mandatory USA Parents Meeting: September 3rd at 6:00pm in the YMCA Community Room

Arena Tech Suit Fitting (USA swimmers only): September 10th at 6:30pm

Reddiset Set On-Site Fitting: September 11th at 4:00pm

🏊 Swim Meets

YMCA swim meets begin in October. A finalized meet schedule will be sent once practices are underway.

Meet requirements:

Non-USA swimmers: Minimum of 3 YMCA meets + Y-Championship

USA swimmers: Minimum of 2 YMCA meets + Y-Championship

⚠️ Important: Our system may prompt you to register for USA Swimming. Do NOT register unless you’ve been specifically told your child will attend USA meets. Otherwise, you’ll be paying for a program your child won’t use.

We’ll also be scheduling a Zoom parent meeting for all non-USA families—date to be announced soon.

🎽 Team Gear & Equipment

Titans Swim Caps are required at all practices.

A silicone cap order will be available in the Reddish Set store soon (open for 10 days only—please order promptly).

Titans Team Suits are required for YMCA meets.

Reddish Set will bring apparel and equipment to try on Sept. 11 at 4pm before ordering online.

However if you know your sizes order now so you have it in time for practice.

🏊 Please ensure your child brings all required equipment to practice and has it ready on deck at the start. 

Coaches cannot pause practice for equipment issues.

📦 Only YMCA-approved Titans gear bags may be left in the LG room. All other bags must go home.

💡 Practice Attendance & Lessons

Attendance is strongly encouraged for lower groups and mandatory for higher groups.

Each practice is designed around specific skills that may not be repeated for several weeks—consistent attendance is key for progress.

Please notify your child’s coach in advance if they will miss practice.
